Started out really well but from around chp70+ it started getting pretty bland, repetitive and really obviously drawn out. Granted, it's meant to be a lighthearted wholesome piece about farming and sticking away from mainstream popularity, but as you get into later chapters it tries taking more serious approaches and just overall seems like it delved away from the main plot points established from the start **SPOILER: i.e. when he becomes a major shareholder or when the ox comes in and the farm is run by itself**.

Also, this text has a really extreme way of denying reader's gratification in order to extend it and put out more chapters. Like, I get the whole 'op mc has to pretend to be a random npc to make sure no one else finds out about their secrets' trope, but mc has his closes friends who has spent 50+ chapters forming relationships with, and even still won't even utter a word about his 'power'.

This manga is really refreshing. The plot is simple but interesting, the main character is endearing and the spirit will fill your cuteness meter to its max. If you want to read some soothing manga this one is the one your are searching for. Simple and effective.

This webtoon is very refreshing to say the least. From what I've seen so far, it's a slow-paced webtoon that focuses on farming rather that fighting. I recommend it as a webtoon that you want to read if you want to take a rest after reading a depressing Manga/Manhwa.

Also Hawa is just too cute.

Spirit Farmer[Review]

By Gusigi

Story

The story of "Spirit Farmer" is unique and different compared to other "Awakening" type series. Here, the MC is not as overpowered as other MC's that possess the truly "Overpowered Factor". Here, the MC just wants to farm and live his life in comfort and safety.

One of MC's goals is to make money, however this goal does not shadow the rest of the series. This series is more slice of life themed, and more relaxing and soft.

Art:

Though the story may be decent, the art does not compare to the story's standards. The lines are rather sharp and rigid, and it makes the human figures appear "robotic-ish" at times. The shadows and shading only have a singular tone most of the time. The colors used are plain and monochromatic, and doesn't really use a wide range of tones of a color.

Characters:

The characters are mostly friendly, and are centred around the "farming" factor in this series. There isn't much growth to characters other than the MC and people extremely close to him. However, even the MC does not have much backstory or personality really explored other than if its related to farming.

Overall:

Overall, I do not really like this series. It is a relaxing and comforting read, however it is not really my kind of read. I also really do not like the art.

Thanks for reading!

STORY:

the story at the beginning of this series the story was something else unique but when you reach ch40+ you start to get bored with the story.

ART:

the art in this series is for children and it's not unique it's more simple not something looking like it Korean manhwas.

CHARACTERS:

the Characters in this story are boring as hell for example the male main Character has no personality he is boring I didn't like most of the Characters in this series since you will feel most of the characters are robots and don't have any personality.

overall:

if you like Characters with no personality and look cute and boring storyline and bad art you will like this manhwa.
