Imagine a country where couples are chosen based on the compatibility of their genes. Whenever a resident reaches the age of 14, a partner will be suggested to him or her based on which match would result in the best child being born.
There are four parts to this series, each one telling the story of a different couple matched together by a couple compatibility program. The takeaway is that matchmaking services can work if you're willing to give them a chance. The first couple is "Yuuichi x Manami." I would rate it as a 7/10. It involves a brother and sister being matched up together and the awkwardness that ensues as they start considering each other as potential romantic partners. The second couple is my favorite: "Jun x Mai." I would rate it as an 8/10. Mai is a novelist, despite only being a high schooler. Fe starts opening up to Jun and trusting fem more as the series goes on, appreciating feir honesty and reliability. Their growth in physical intimacy is adorable. And I really like Mai's hair. The third couple is "Nobuyuki x Miyuki." I would rate it as a 3/10. It involves two gamers, who have a romance both in real life and in the game world. The final couple is "Takuya x Shiori." This is another 3/10. It's also another story about incest, but this time the two of them are cousins. They've both felt forced to live along the path their parents have set for them, and they want to break free and find their own path.
