A necro-romantic story about a skeleton who serve his master, a succube who died in front of his eyes. Classic isekai story, he's killed after his mistress and revived few years before he encountered her and dramatically ( it's gived me tingles ) he swear on her death to revenge her and find the power to protect her again. if you like the dungeon/Dark Fantasy style and overpowered isekai revenge this is for you ! Good art, good characters, fantasy world and story... Hey you alaways here? Wtf dude leave right now and start to read it !

Both have non-human mains with female companions. They both have minimal humor and the weak-to-strong through fighting aspect.

Firelorr Firelorr says...

They both have a main character who was pretty average to start with who die and come back with an overpowered ability.

Both MC have abiliaty to learn someone ablity/skill.

Both MC can die and have memory before death and both of them when they die, they respawn at some checkpoint(In SSS-Class hero back in time 24h before deathIn Skeleton Soldier this checkpoint is difrent what paht he chose in this life.)

Both of them they meet a partner who advises them in they adventure.

Both main characters have the ability to return to a certain point in the past when they die. Both main characters don't always retread the same life, sometimes they choose to live differently that time, and sometimes they don't. Both main characters try to keep the people they like alive. Both are quite interesting. Both have likable side characters.

molopower molopower says...

Yes, I do think both stories are similar in their foundations with both mc being unable to die & copying skills.  But where they really differ is how their death affects the story and the world. Initially in revival hunter, I think its utilization is clever but it remains more of a tool for the character to learn, adapt and grow stronger. That's perfectly fine but not where the webtoon shines the most. However when the skeleton soldier dies everything changes. I'd consider Revival Hunter's progression to be like stairs going up, it's pretty one-note. But skeleton soldier's progression is like a flow chart, it's absolutely brilliant. Overall both stories are amazing and if you liked one you'll probably enjoy the other.

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Chapter 1: A Day in the Capital

Subaru Natsuki was just trying to get to the convenience store but wound up summoned to another world. He encounters the usual things--life-threatening situations, silver haired beauties, cat fairies--you know, normal stuff. All that would be bad enough, but he's also gained the most inconvenient magical ability of all--time travel, but he's got to die to use it. How do you repay someone who saved your life when all you can do is die?

A protagonist who keeps dying trying to protect the ones he cares about, learning from his experiences via a mysterious ability that revives him at his last "save point".

Thing482 Thing482 says...

Both Re:Zero and Skeleton Soldier have that if they die time will rewind to the "last check point" and because of this... Well you just get to watch them get rekt sometimes... AND also them defeat their opponent with a perfect counter... After the fourth try (Everyone else thinks it was the first try so that is all that matters right?)

This was my first time writing a recommendation. I don't really know if I did it well but I hope you like both of the stories.

Underneath the peace and prosperity of the new world is an undercurrent threatening to destroy everything he has worked for, questioning his role and reason for being born again.
