What is the appeal of this story supposed to be? I read 17 chapters and I can honestly say I didn't find any. I tried to like this manga but there were somethings I just couldn't excuse. First of all let's talk about the fact that the author tries to portray a romance between a 13 year old ( that looks 9) and a 17 year old (that could be mentally older). Every other chapter kept making me feel super uncomfortable and my pedophilia meter kept going through the roof. Then there's the fact that this girl just straight up wakes up in a novel and has zero reaction. Does she miss her family and home? Wouldn't know cause they never get mentioned. Does she want to find a way back? Wouldn't know that either cause all of her metal dialogue is dedicated towards coddling the male lead. Oh and let's talk about the male lead. This spoiled, possessive, annoying brat that is supposed to be our main lead. God, I wanted to stab his eyeballs out with a fork.
He takes the 'charming' out of Prince Charming.
I have three things to say and three things only.
[I enjoyed the story in the beginning but alas, the three reasons above ruined everything. Everything would have been fine if their personalities hadn't come off so strongly and forced. The best part of this story is the art.
I apologize if I offended/triggered anyone, but I am only stating my opinion and you can't scold me for that.]
Started all nice and fluffy and enjoyable, now currently, at the time of reading when only 38 chapters were available, it just has been going downhill without stopping, along with the enjoyability. *Spoiling complaint:*
The MC lass has become an idiot, not wanting things to deviate from the novel she read before getting isekai'd, but her reincarnating in the first fucking place was so that she can help Alejandro and change the goddamn plot of the novel. An utter moron.
It was nice seeing the male lead grow up and bond with mc especially with his terrible childhood but the further the story goes the more uncomfortable I got. I wish they would have just stuck with the dynamic they had in the beginning. Cause the way the ml latches on so desperately to the mc, is not romantic it's weird. The art is also kinda unpleasant the mouth being the main culprit, everything else meets expectations but it's like the artist just got to the mouth and gave up. It's a real shame...
I personally loved this story, the plot is well thought out and although some things, such as Alejando's growth, are unreasonable, everything is well put together and has a nice plot. The art is simply beautiful and the characters are well fleshed out and have lots of character. It's clear that the author has put a lot of thought into the interactions and the thought processes of the characters. While some may argue Ibee may be dense or "dumb", I believe she isn't because it's hard to take in the facts when you're living in a scenario.
