This story is about a sage who has saved the world alongside the hero but ended up getting betrayed by humanity. The sage then got revived as a skeleton or can be called a lich. Upon his revival the sage now wants to get rid of the humans who has strayed into the wrong side by killing them.
That's basically how the story goes. I'm currently reviewing this at chapter 3 since that's all there is for now. So far Its a pretty good story but not anything too great. The mc(the sage) became super Overpowered a bit too quickly so in my opinion this Manga would be hard to become a long lasting one but hey, I personally like stories about world domination so I'm thinking of sticking with this Manga and decide later on whether it's a good or a bad one. Anyways thank you for reading this and I hope you have a nice day ahead!
I... Yeah okay this one isn't at all an isekai but like... I've already done so many. Where do we draw the line? I don't care. And I have a very good reason for reviewing this one. It's cool. Revenge fantasy, "evil" main character, noble goal, occasional humour, etc etc. Frankly, it's Overlord but better. Sorry not sorry. This one even has better subordinates. Only thing Overlord does better is the fact there's a whole cool mystery going on, and it barely even takes advantage of that mystery so honestly, it's barely a point, especially when this one also has some form of intrigue in the way heroes and Demon Lords work . This story has a goal and it strives toward it. No faffing about with weird side junk that seemingly has no purpose. The story is focused and interesting and I genuinely do not even care that it's not even arguably isekai, it's on my list and it should be on yours.
It's a good manga in general, though it's too much murdering and stuff like that. If you've seen Overlord, it's the same general idea of being the dark lich and defeating humans and other enemies, though in a totally original way. So it's nice but also kinda depressive with nice people sometimes dying, etc. Apart from that, other things are awesome if you like this kind of plot of becoming a powerful but dark entity, who kills so that the world can awake from its fake peace, which hides so much bad stuff too, since people many times end up killing eachother and compete, instead of unite and cooperate.
heres the thing, as someone who enjoys realism more than ever now, Is it really a betrayal? The government had a hunch and did what they did to prevent a new demon king rising to power. In no way am i saying that these were good people, im just saying that i dont quite veiw it as a betrayal. I could also be missing details. Very good story tho.
Really fun manga I would reccomend if you like an mc who is filled with anger.
Very nice manga, one of the best Ive read in the last month, the art is better than most of the isekais i've read, the characters are not that memorable apart from the heroin and the mc but the second in command guy makes me laugh every once in a while.
The story is somewhat common but the execution is a lot better from average terms, I enjoyed it a lot.
