If you enjoyed the last few chapters of Shindo (where Uta learns how to play music for deaf children), you'll like A Silent Voice. One of the main characters in it is deaf and the story deals with this difficulty in much the same way as Shindo, showing some of the tricks deaf people use to cope with living in a world built for those who can hear. Communication through sign language is also a prominant feature.
