Both of these are fantastic BL's centred around students with a creative discipline involved ... Except Lost in the Cloud is like the psychological thriller version of Semantic error and it's great lol

SacredCow SacredCow says...

theyre really similar where the ml bullies the mc for a while and then they grow closer but lost in the cloud is a little less focused on romance and more on the deeper pyschological trauma of the characters whereas semantic error is a lot more light hearted and is more like a rom com

These aren't very similar on a surface level—nothing superficial is similar in terms of plot or characters—however they both have a comedic tone and are written in a way that makes them fast, entertaining reads. They also both utilize certain tropes like misunderstandings and jealousy in the romantic plot.

Although the story is quite different, I think the relationship between the main characters have some similarities: the introvertedboy with black hair and slim (graceful?) body meets somebody who makes his world wider. The art is just magical (or something more) in both of them.

When the nurse walks in on the scene, devilishly handsome Taehyun tells her that Dayeol tried to make out with him. To make matters worse, Taehyun doesn’t show the slightest bit of remorse; in fact, he shamelessly begins hanging around Dayeol. Both mangas are yaoi. The uke and seme have the same vibes; they look similar and they also have similar personalities. Both semes are artists but in oh my assistant the uke is also an artist. The ukes are both a little tsundere

Between the Lines

Between the Lines

Baek Dohu’s a university student who writes BL novels on the side. And his preferred type of top character? The scumbag kind, who treats their partners like crap. And Dohu’s first impression of Seo Juheon is the complete opposite: the typical nice-guy—always smiling, always catering to the needs of those around him. But things take a turn when he accidentally comes across Juheon blackmailing someone in an alley. The real Juheon is a polar opposite from the facade he puts up; he swears, he has a temper, he’s manipulative…and Dohu loves it. Juheon could be THE inspiration for his next big novel that hit a dead end long ago. Excited, Dohu starts following Juheon around “observing” his character, which is bound to give Juheon some wrong ideas… Between the lines of artist and muse, business and pleasure, who’ll be the first to cross the line over to the other side?

The main characters of these two manhwa are similar. They're both very literal, serious, monotone, and not easily embarrassed. Something about them give neurodivergent vibes as they're not the types to understand or care for social rules or being perceived as strange.
