Don't Blush, Sekime-san!

ok i've never commented before on any of these reviews, but after seeing the only review on here i just wanted to say that there is no need to analyze it that deeply. It's actually quite funny cause i giggled many times while reading. I really liked the little details the author adds for comedy.  The story is cute, the characters are cute, It's a simple high school story. Nothing bad or big about it. on chp 33 (:

The eyes are placed awkwardly on the head--don't look like they have depth. The backgrounds and uniforms are simple, though at least proportionally consistent. Angles are switched up between panels, which can be nice. The facial expressions are pretty generic--often with the eyes just staring blankly ahead and empty smiles on the mouths--and lean on the blushing for most of the expressiveness. However, I find the blushing to be overly intense and not actually all that cute. I find some of the premises a bit boring. But I appreciate the direction it's started to take within the last few chapters, where it'll include some eccentric visual gags. We had a metaphor of Takadono crossdressing as a girl in a bar in chapter 13, a metaphor of a miniature Sekime hanging from Takadono's shirt collar like a tie in chapter 14, and a literal moment where Takadono was covered with bananas in chapter 15. Even the image of Takadono's classmates lifting fem up into the air in chapter 12 was pretty funny. Obviously, this type of humor was latent within the manga from the very beginning. Throughout, Sekime's over-actions and flamboyant athleticism as fe attempts to avoid getting too close to Takadono (because of feir extreme shyness) create a somewhat humorous effect. And feir dashing is obviously drawn to look silly. But these aspects do grow a bit stale and aren't overly funny to begin with, so I hope the story continues its trend of including fresh, non-shyness gags and doesn't simply try to coast on something like romantic adorability. Pretty cute, wholesome manga. Not anything special I'd say but I enjoyed it. It's a nice manga to relax and read. It's a pretty short read too which is pretty neat. Finished it in two sittings :>
