The first chapter is an introduction to the world, but doesn't do a good job of making the story seem interesting. But once Theresa's introduced in chapter two, it becomes a lot more engaging. I find Theresa's character design to be really cute. I also like a lot of the portrayals of fight scenes. Elysha is also initially an interesting character, just because fe seems a bit mysterious and troubled. But once we figure out what feir circumstances are, fe becomes more bland. There are a lot of characters, but I don't really feel all that invested in any of them. Part of that might be because they're all introduced in quick succession near the beginning and part of it might be because all of these girls almost immediately fall in line within Arihito's harem. It just doesn't feel like they have much depth.

As for motives, obviously there's the general motive of fighting in the labyrinth in order to gain points, rise in the ranks, and get better accomodations. More broadly, it's implied that by rising in the ranks they might be able to find more information about the world beyond the city, the influence of the church and the guild, and perhaps why the afterlife consists of fighting monsters. More specifically, Arihito has currently been motivated to help Theresa (first, by getting 100 copper tickets, and then by aiming to get to the fourth district and the Great Temple). In fact, standing together and helping one's comrades is a recurring idea. Every fight so far has at least one instance of someone telling the others to leave and save themselves, but the others refusing and insisting on working together to overcome the threats. And then, of course, each fight scene ends with Arihito's support skills having played a vital and central role. New attacks and new skills are learned, but they seem to be acquired a bit too easily. The fight scenes are well-drawn though, so that's still nice.

What a funky world. I'm always interested in these stories where reincarnation isn't a big secret. They tend to have pretty unique plots and world mysteries it seems. Unfortunately making magic horny is also really common and this is no exception. Just... Ignore those parts. Instead, focus on the giant borzois, okay? And I think the whole world is just really interesting, I want to know all the little details. It has a certain vibe, one where the characters are just small pieces of a big puzzle, but not insignificant. It's just really fun for no reason.

FINALLY A ISEKAI THAT ISN'T JUST HAREM OR ANY SH*T.

The history is super good, isnot the usual "hur dur i wanna find a adventure guild", have exploration, adventure, party to explore and etc. backstory about the characters is very good.

and the protagonist is not OVERPOWER, it's useful character like all his party.

Decent but unremarkable.

Story seems to know where it's going, characters aren't bad.

I read it upto it's current release (19?), but don't like it enough to continue.
