As a whole the story is really good and for a long time interesting. Characters are initially pretty dull (or more like flat) but most of them get their background story in one of the volumes. There are some key points which annoy me like the harem part (fortunately not standing out too much and at least there are reasons why each one likes him) or the saint erica arc (which seems more like - oh no we don't have an interemediate enemy anymore, if we don't create a new one, the "end boss" is the only remaining one) The protagonist is a young boy who goes through many hardships after his parents die. One day when he's nearly dead, he awakens some poweres which are connected to a spirit. Afterwards he goes through many more hardships, sometimes fleeing, sometimes fighting and sometimes joining others. All the while he tries to save as many people as possible - the only ones he can't pardon are his parents murder and poeple who would kill innocencts. Curious enough, he ends saving mostly girls and later women - you could really think this is a harem novel (okay some sarcasm had to be) - Tried to write more multiple times but each time I write some spoiler;)
