Secret Lady - Reviews

For some reason, I did not click with this. I can recognize it's of higher quality than most. And you're probably going to enjoy Secret Lady. But for me, I just didn't vibe with it. I don't like the male lead nor do I enjoy his underdeveloped aides. The main character felt soulless and bland, perhaps I've read too many similar mangas. And the world is superficial, it does not have any depth other than the palace. The art is pretty tough. 

It´s pretty decent. The artsyle is pretty. The author plays with color and i like it. It reminds me of a stepmother's marchen, i think they are the same drawers? I like the characters and the spirit idea. The FL has a lot going on and there is a good balance between the plot and FL emotions. The plot is good and set on to what to do. It is a historical imperial drama manhwa. With spice of ghosts and a murder investigation. Good written. The romance started earlier than i expected, but i like it. Other manhwa´s tend to build momentum and then start with the romance but this one did not.

Owerall it is a really good one. Can´t wait for more chapters.

I like this story the most out of all reincarnation stories. the plot is original and the pacing is perfect. i like the female leads personality. shes not physically strong but is mentally strong. shes clever and smart. i dont know who the male lead is for sure but i think it is the purple haired guy and hes not trashy and has a likeable personality and i like  that the ghosts actually have a part in the story and aren't just a side part sort of thing. the art is lovely and i like how the dresses look historically accurate. i can see that the artist puts in lot of  effort.

i have read 30 chapters and i look forward for the upcoming chapters. :)

The manga is pretty decent for now. It involves imperial palace drama and the love interest kickoff earlier than I expected. The art is unique as the artist play with colours creatively. It has a lot of potential.

Recommend for: Those who enjoy imperial palace mystery drama and colourful art.

Alert: Consider adjusting brightness while reading the manga.

The story is a breathe of fresh air. I love that the plot is a little more unique and that the FL has personality and skills. The male characters haven't had anywhere near as much time in the spotlight (by chp 22) but they still have budding personalities that make them interesting enough.

The art style is beautiful but sometimes the colors are really monotone, bright or just weird so I have to dock it a bit for that.
