Both have little girls who are surviving the apocalypse with the help of friends/family. In both, the little girls don't seem to realize/pretend not to know what has happened and try to continue living normally, in spite of being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Zombies at a high school with HS students. School Live! is focused more on friendship and like tragedy/suspense  while Highschool of the Dead is way more zombie action and harem esque
