Run Away With Me, Girl - Reviews

One of the best manga's I've ever read, hands down. The characters act like real people, which is a breath of fresh air in WLW stories. The art is really fantastic and unique. Plus, its a realistic (and occasionally heart-wrenching) depiction of what being queer is actually like.

𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖  >>>  Well if you are one who read wholesome YURI well you might not like this one or you might drop it at a certain point. This story deals with complex characters and complicated relationships.

MIDORI is impulsive and cheats on her husband, her would be husband beats her and looks down on her but then expects verbal apologies to make up for it, MAKI has trouble being assertive and gets pulled into Midori's flow.

It's about love with its ugly sides and beautiful sides but It's a good one. It has a good ending though the path had to be bitter. If you can handle little drama then go ahead.

Everything about this is so beautiful, At first it felt like a long drowsy dream - the kind that feels like it devours your mind and heart, making you feel numb and powerless, making doubts that must have crossed your mind end up being just another unimportant mental doodles...All that leads up to the moment of her awakening - realizing that happiness has always been there and that all it takes is the courage to grab a hold of it, to hold her hand and never let go.

Definitely too beautiful a story, there are really strong parts about some people's lives but how they get on is just BEAUTIFUL. I recommend it one hundred percent, give it your time since it only has 16 chapters, you will not regret it. <3

I'm usually very stingy with my reviews and a solid 10 is nearly impossible. Since "Lily Yy's" I haven't given a solid 10 so I'm saying, It's fucking good.

The series starts bitter and becomes like salted caramel. Bitter and sweet in their own time before the latter half when things become so gut twistingly tense that I was worried that it was going to be a trainwreck. Nothing about the series pulled me from my emersion, even antagonists were written with a mind to make them believable and their actions were colored through the bias of those involved so the story maintained great complexity.

An unconventional last chapter finished the series in a way I did not expect but was entirely welcome. Great job @battan8 You stole my heart with this one!
