1949, Post-war Tokyo--As the Japanese become more and more of a minority in their own homeland, they continue to hold hope for their future in Primavera. Alan has returned to Japan to find Tokyo very different from the one he remembers. While maintaining high spirits and looking for loved ones, he struggles to find a reason to keep fighting without being bitter about his past.
