As the bastard child of the Anzak king, Alexia knew she was destined for very little. The Book of Wolves foretold her destiny as a side character, from her impoverished childhood to her brutal death at the hands of the enemy prince, Tervion. But when Alexia is sent to assassinate him, the story changes. Now she’s engaged to him as part of the peace treaty between their two countries. In the face of mortal danger and abandoned by a loveless father in enemy lands, Alexia must decide where her loyalties lie and whose life matters most.
It's hard to express why this one had such a bad impression on me. The art is stiff, the characters are all blunt and flat, and the story failed to hook my interest. While stories along the lines of "I'm married to x character in a story with x plot" are popular, and for what I consider good reason, this one falls short in many ways. Firstly, it isn't really very clear why or how the FL knows the future or the story- just that a novel appeared to her in a dream... and suddenly she just perfectly knows everything about the story. After one night's sleep, ig. So she starts trying to change the 'story' so her fate isn't terrible, but. The way she chooses to do so is pretty stupid and she's not very proactive about it. The dialogue is poorly written, the character interactions are boring, all the characters around her treat her unreasonably poorly (even for the daughter of an enemy country) and the ML? Not even hot. This is a hard pass for me, fam. And I'd recommend you don't bother either.
-DNF- I tried to read Chapter 7 but I just couldn't get pass it every time I try. I don't care about the FL and the male lead (even tho he may be fine), the story is way too confusing, but if there's one good thing I have to say about this manhwa, it's the art. Overall, this manhwa is just too clunky and confusing to continue. it had potental but it fell really short. I'm sorry if you guys liked it but it just wasn't for me.
