Both have a returner main character except Blossomin Blade is about reincarnating in the future while Mad Demon goes back in time.
I think the return of the mad demon is a more serious verison of the return of the blossoming blade
Bouth mc coming back from death and bouth are strongest at their time. They gain their power quickly and begin rising.
They both share the same reincarnation themes and is funny as hell, you can't help but laugh in this one
both of them are really funny with trash personality mc and both are reincarnation tho this one he reincaranates in someone else's body while that one gets back in time
Both of the manga have an MC who is crazy. They also know martial arts and are better than others at it.

Both set in Murim, but one with regression and the other with reincarnation. so far both are pretty funny and have good action sequences.
Both mc's use their past knowledge to become stronger faster.
They both have a chaotic personallity.
I really recomend this, you won't regret it.
Both series are speculatular and incredibly funny. These are honestly top tier and are great reads. If your interested Return Of The Blossoming is currently available on webtoon for free (current date: march 1 2023) but is on hiatus! I hope I was able to introduce you to something new
While one is a returner and the other a reincarnator, they both end up in the situation of being ridiculously strong in a short amount of time despite those familiar with the original body/person knowing otherwise. Both characters quickly rise through the ranks and establish two classic organizations within Murim stories through methods that leave both the audience and the rest of the characters viewing them as crazy, insane, demonic, and devilish all rolled into one character. Great read with Fantastic Fights, Asthetically pleasing Artwork, and Hysterically Hilarious scenes.
they are both murim based which is great art and intriguing story, also both hilarious so highly recommend this.

Just overall very similar plot and scenario. MCs are kinda similar too and are trying to help their sects.
The Grand Mudang Saga and Return of the Blossoming Blade are similar in the way both MCS try to bring back a sect which was ruined both have really good art and are really funny
THEY both are mesmarising as well as completely insane . I maen just look at those graphics and story
both are very sassy badass overpowered protagonists who seem to be mean but do care for their fellow disciples. reincarnations of badasses.
The MCs are both irreverent characters who unwittingly become the pride and joy of their sects
The main character in both murim settings have a similar personality. They're both evil and hilarious
Both is good
I need 100 characters............................................ ....................
They both are about powerful martial artists who reincarnated, and are both assholes to everyone.
they also have hellish training methods one worse than the other in my opinion
Very similar , both MC have a devil like personality and are reincarnated into another's body
Both mc's are funny and very op.
Both are reincarnations of past powerful people and have a tough but effective way of training there subordinates.
They both also show no mercy to there foes.
Joo Seo-Cheon, a man who survives the age of war through sheer luck, becomes Hwasan faction's elder only to live a life full of regrets and doubts. He then lies on his death bed waiting for the inevitable when he is returned to the past…

They both have martial arts
the main martial arts are base around blossoms.
both mc reincarnate as a younger version of them selves
have similar art.
similar with both mc's using their knowledge to become more powerful after going into the past after their death. they also both use blossom-themed techniques. i read one after the other and i get confused which story is which sometimes since they have the same vibe but they are different, and i enjoyed them both :)
They both involve the Mount Hua sect and a person being reborn to try and fix things, although they one was sent to the past and the other was reborn in a different body in the future. They both have beautiful art and great characters!
Honestly "Return of the Blossoming Blade" feels like a total rip off of "Volcanic Age", especially because volcanic age came 3 years before it. Personally I prefer Volcanic age (I also like the art more) but ROTBB is not bad either.
Here are just a few of the similarities: - They both start with a man that survived a deadly battle
- They both are part of a sect named "Mount Hua" and they try to continue its legacy
- They both have "Cheon" in their names
- They both wield flower swords
- the beginning is literally the exact same
- Also ROTBB's alternate title is literally "Volcanic Return"....
Bothe are about maunt huha
They both show the MC coming from the Mount Hwa sect and tackling Murim head on bringing glory to the sect. The fight scenes are fantastic, and the art is great. One is a returner who makes moves to get ahead on the great threat to the Murim world while the other is a reincarnater who wakes up in a world where the Mount Hwa sect has fallen from its grace as one of the strongest sects due to a conflict with a threat to the Murim World.
A young orphan was alone in the world until he meets the master of a secret form of martial arts. To learn these otherworldly techniques, he will need to endure years of his sadistic teacher’s grueling and weird training. But why does he have to do laundry, cook meals, or play instruments to learn martial arts anyway?! If he can survive long enough (and if his massive ego doesn’t get in the way), he just might be able to wield the unstoppable lightning knives. Will he make the cut or be sliced down to size?

The two main characters have simillar personalities. They have that way of making fun of everyone and making them suffer both physically and psychologically. They're both pretty overpowered too.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Both set in Murim and shows from the main character from a young age. So far both are pretty funny and have good action sequences.
Similarity: Same style of comedy. Young (ridiculously OP) MCs overthrow the system by training their seniors (a group of them). Both MCs are feared for being cruel and respected at the same time. Both MCs are sly, like foxes, especially with money.
The differences would be that while "Returning of the Blossoming Blade" focused the story on the relationship between MC (Chung Myung) and the Mount Hua sect, "Master of Lighning Knives" focused more on the happenings around MC (Bi Ryu-yeon) and his antics.
Nanotechnology meets martial arts at the Mashin Academy. Yeo-un’s mother may not be one of the High Priest’s six official wives, but his father’s blood still qualifies him for a chance at the position of Minor Priest. Will a mysterious nanomachine injection from a future descendent help Yeo-un in this fierce competition against his powerful half-siblings?

if you like the martial arts then you will definitely like this. the context of this just believe me and read you will not regret. if you like nano machine then you definetly love this
Their personality and behaviour are slightly different from being polite and disrespect.
But their martial art are the best. You won't stop reading crazy story .

Similarity: Both MCs are reincarnated from great figures of the past. They have Chaotic Neutral tendencies and have the same goal of restoring their sect to its former glory.
Different: The MC of "Demonic Master of Mount Kunlun" (Jong Gwang) has more overall support from Mount Kunlun than the MC of "Return of the Blossoming Blade" (Chung Myung) gets from Mount Hua.
Both of them have a young returner and both sects are miserable when they returned haha i think this one is the most similar to rmhs they're both so funny with a weird sense of humor
Kunlun's art kinda resembles Gosu i like them both but rmhs has a different place in my heat

- "comedy" manhwas in a murim world
- similar art style, both good
- both MC's are aiming to regain their sect's glory from the past and help people from their clan
- MC's end goals are the same: they want to get stronger, they want to make their sect's stronger and finally be able to defeat a demonic / evil sect
