When Cheongmyeong of the Mount Hua Sect awakens a hundred years in the future, his last memories are of a bloody battle against the Leader of the Demonic Cult, the evil Cheonma. The battle almost saw the end of the Ten Great Sects of ancient China, when Cheongmyeong ended the hard-fought struggle by striking down Cheonma. Soon after, he succumbed to his wounds, filled with regret at their pyrrhic victory. All is not lost, however, as he awakens to his second chance at life. Shocked to find his beloved Mount Hua Sect reduced to a mere shadow of itself in the present day, Cheongmyeong embarks on a journey to restore Mount Hua to its former glory.
I am speechless as to how to describe just how amazing this manhwa has been so far.The MC, in particular, is very likable. He seems like an idiot with no common sense, but he's actually very intelligent when it comes to scheming and all other things. You'll be very surprised to see how intelligent he just is. He has this sort of haughty but confident personality; these kinds of personalities on protagonists can be cringey if not done right, but the author writes him so perfectly that it's amazing to read. I enjoy watching him go through all the events and seeing the battle scenes. The art is very beautiful, and I freaking love the characters. I'm off to read the novel now as I can't wait any longer!
Very good cultivation part-comedy led by an overpowered and shameless main character. The plot is interesting to follow - how will MC train Mount Hua to make a comeback? The art is very good - love the facial expressions. The action scenes are amazing. The anatomy is flawless. I could really feel how dynamic the fights were.
