Hot-headed Kozuka Mitsuomi left his home in the country to try to lead a sophisticated life in Tokyo. Unfortunately, at age 25, he returns home in disgrace, having been fired from his job. As he tries to rediscover himself in the rural area he once called home, he meets Kumai Yamato, a man about his age who was adopted into his community while Mitsuomi was away. How can this be this much pure and heartwarming ┗( T﹏T )┛i literally cried while reading every goddamn chapter! Not because its so sad and depressing but because its so pure and wholesome ( seriously tho i like feeling emotions and be able to cry while reading something but i really don't like those depressing and disturbing stories i prefer crying because of something like this ┗( T﹏T )┛) and the way they describe their feelings just made me so emotional （/TДT)/ i want them to be live happily ever after for a life time and i want them to have only good things in this world and i don't want them to have any kind of hardship from now on... that's how i feel about them!! like my heart is aching because of them! Not because they made me sad but because i want to protect them at all cost! That's how pure and innocent they are! Seriously such a beautiful story so good! Its hard to explain how i felt while reading this... And i'll give anything to be able to watch a anime about this story that will be so beautiful! Glad i found this! Such a masterpiece ヾ(☆▽☆)
It's honestly one of the most cutest and relaxing shounen ai stories I've ever read. I liked how we have a tsundere hot tempered lad who just got back home in the countryside from Tokyo after being fired from his job a few times. Yamato is pretty much a happy chappy, he was taken in by his grandad after being put into fostercare and found on a park bench when he was a wee babie. I would've liked to have found out more about who his parents are but regardless, this is a pretty nice story to read folks! Btw I heard there's a live action coming out this year so check that out as well 😁
It's sweet seeing the way these two people rub off on each other, with Mitsuomi becoming more mellow and empathetic toward others and with Yamato becoming more honest about how fe feels (and not just flashing feir awkward fake smile). They support each other and, over time, realize that they love each other. The story starts out focusing more on Mitsuomi's perceived unreliability and hot temper and then transitions to focusing more on Yamato's situation. I think the story probably could've done a better job of integrating the larger town and its people into the lives of these two, even if that just consisted of showing how most everyone saw them as outsiders or something, but it was still a short and sweet little romance.
