A modern-day engineer is transmigrated to a different world... where he becomes a prince. His surroundings remind him of medieval Europe, but it's not quite the same. *spoiler free review* The synopsis does not do this novel proper justice. Our MC is an engineer before he's isekai'd into this fantasy setting. The fascinating part, which was never really conveyed via the manhwa, is how he comes up with solutions to problems. The novel describes his scientific process and troubleshooting in trying to recreate modern technology in detail previously unseen in other isekai. It gives the story a very fresh/original feeling while occasionally educating the reader in an entertaining way. That's what truly sets it apart. There's a polished balance between character interaction and development, plot building, side story, and our MCs pursuit of creating his ideal kingdom. Pacing wise this will read more like a traditional book when compared to other chinese works. That said, you won't be seeing the same endless series of tropes that most cookie cutter novels use. Overall it's a good distraction and I definitely recommend it.
