Both are similar thematically and tonally, with the main characters deceiving each other while sharing a forgotten past together as children. They are both action-centered and mature. The characters in both are really well-developed and interesting. While the relationships don't build in the same manner, they're still similar in how they interact with each other, and are still both slow-burns. While I found Red Candy to have a faster pace and Park Hanhoo's Manager to be a bit more laid back, they both still feature such great twists and turns that aren't cliche or expected. All in all, both have great plots, interesting characters, and relationships with amazing chemistry.

These aren't very similar on a surface level—nothing superficial is similar in terms of plot or characters—however they both have a comedic tone and are written in a way that makes them fast, entertaining reads. They also both utilize certain tropes like misunderstandings and jealousy in the romantic plot.

Penthouse XXX

Siyeon, a contract killer, has declared a boycott on men after being screwed over by his ex. That is, until he moves into a penthouse owned by Taekyung, a rich heir with killer looks. Contrary to first impressions, there’s more to Taekyung than his party animal persona, and there’s more to Siyeon than the cool, collected facade he puts on. The two can’t quite figure each other out…and yet are instinctively drawn to each other.

The premise of these webtoons are similar: extraordinary, mysterious men with double lives who end up getting involved with their targets. Our MCs are certified badasses who are more than capable of handling their own - they beat up bad guys and know how to handle their weapons. They aren't afraid to lie and keep secrets to get the job done.

Unlike Red Candy, Dear Benjmain is an omegaverse where males can get pregnant. Dear Benjamin also has a more serious tone, whereas Red Candy is very light-hearted and feels more like your stereotypical BL. There are plenty of humorous and chibi moments (Red Candy can be rather dense and clumsy).

Otherwise, I would recommend Dear Benjamin and Red Candy to those who like reading about undercover operatives, ukes that can fight, and a little bit of mystery.

Will the madness never end?! ...Still, maybe—JUST maybe—Mongryong can convince his captor to go easy on him. Just not TOO easy. After all, there's nothing wrong with playing a little rough either.

Assorted Wilderness is fun and exciting. As the name implies, it is a wild ride. Red Cabdy and Assorted Wilderness remind me of each other. The feel of the stories is the same. Red Candy is a story about a spy and espionage and Assorted Wilderness is a story about gangsters. Don't expect the plots to be similar. The feel of the story is what matters and what makes the two stories good friends. They're both a crazy, wild ride. They characters are fun and insane. The stories are adventurous and unhinged. They're both hilarious and cute. If you like Assorted Wilderness, then you'll like Red Candy as well.
