I’ve read both they may not be similar in how the plot develops; however, the immense cuteness I found in both made my day. And the psychological dismay in certain parts just give in an extra spice of enjoyment, I recommend both they are lovely. It is fun to find what is going to happen next and figure the relationships of the characters.

Both are of an action and mystery type genre. The male and female lead characters are both very similar, have a strained relationship where the male lead is more interested and forces himself into the life of the female lead who at first wants nothing to do with him.  Both are faced with dangerous situations and both have comedic bits sprinkled in as well.

Oh my gosh I love both of these so much!

romance, mystery, drama, action, an actual story *cough*cough* suspense, evil/ main characters with criminal jobs/ "yandere" love interests as well as darker themes

what more could you want

Both stories have thriller, romantic, and comedic aspects. The main characters both have ties to very shady and dangerous jobs and professions and get involved in fights and violence. The main characters are also multi-faceted and show different sides to their personalities.

Catbeeisafraid Catbeeisafraid says...

Both are a little dark and have a perfect blend of romance, action, drama, intrigue, and a proper story

The male lead is a yakuza and the female lead is a granddaughter of a yakuza. The male lead is really a jerk. I love how the female lead can fight back even though not that strong.

While the romance dynamic is different, both of these are two of the most riveting mafia romances I've come across. Dark tone, crime settings, deep characters and psychological games!

Bonus: Both have a tiger motif/symbolism for the ML's.

That is, until she gets kidnapped. Luckily, Hari manages to emerge from that incident relatively unscathed, but… Why is the man who saved her following her around? What does a missing person’s case from twenty years ago have to do with anything? What secrets will be unearthed from Hari’s missing memories?

If you enjoy thrilling mafia romances you'll love these two.

Raise wa Tanin ga li has a fantastic mind-game dynamic between the MC's, while Guardians of the Lamb is straight up one of the best manga stories I've came across, with fantastic banter and an action-packed mystery plotline.

Both are about gangs and feature a plot device of marriage or engagemnt. Yakuza fiance is more of a dark comedy while before death do us part is romantic.
