A story with a nice concept that never took of because of the awful MC. Story: The first chapter has a perfect pace, you get to the main point very quickly, explore it for a while and by the end of the chapter you are anxious for more, you want to explore more of the idea, you want to know more about it, you feel like the possibilities are endless,  unfortunately everything goes downhill from there. Art: The art is amazing, the only bad thing is that the battle scenes (the part where they actually fight and move, the open shots are awesome) are very confusing, probably because the artist is not used to draw those. Characters: There are 13 characters and unfortunately we, the readers, are stuck following the worst 2 of them, the MC, who is in a larger than life situation but acts like a moralfag, and the girl MC, who has to be literally carried around, that is how useless she is. The characters, but especially the MC, make this story go nowhere with their nonsensical ideas, you just can't relate to them and because of that you just don't care about what happens. The only saving grace is the antagonist, who uppon his introduction is shown to be very capable <<<<<SPOILER>>>>> but he gets screwed by the plot in a stupid way. Overall Don't waste your time, you would never believe the same person who wrote DN wrote this.

The reason why I got to read this manga because I heard it’s going to be airing as an anime soon and the fact the author who wrote the well known“Death Note” series. I absolutely thought the story as well as character development was mediocre enough and the ending was goddamn awful like there wasn’t even a mention of the human population to disappear into thin air! I mean I really thought it was all about saving people and turning them into angels?! Cmon bro! I even hated the fact our MC is a typical softie like I really wanted edginess from him, heck the author is better to just make every single main characters be edgy like Light and that would win me over lmao! Yeah just disappointed…

From the creators of Death Note and Bakuman, so I had high expectations especially when I read the synopsis, it seemed like the psychological thriller Death Note brought. Boy was I not dissappointed! It's not exactly Death Note and the characters are not as iconic, but it does hold it's own. The concept of the story introduces the audience to a new world where God candidates are chosen by the angels, effectively one of the conditions for becoming God is last one standing. The candidates do not know who the other candidates are. There are brutal killings, explosions, manipulations and just grittiness to it. It's not a story you would see or read anywhere. The creators do a good job of representing the 'real and raw' side of humanity if godly power is given to them. The best part of the manga is the battle between candidates and how they are trying to outwit each other. I highly recommend this if that's what you like. It's pure genius!
