Phoenix Goes Against the World - Reviews

Slight spoilers:

I didn't go into Feng Ni Tian Xia with a lot of expectations but this Manhua seriously disappointed me, it felt like a TV soap opera that runs for years with no solid foundation. The twists and storyline diverged so much that when I look back, it felt like I had multi-hopped 3 different stories. After 300+ chapters, I couldn't keep up with how much the story had changed from a Strong OP MC with what felt like a setup for a run-of-the-mill revenge action Manhua to something of a Drama heroine with 10 different tragedies, with no goal in the end. Even the fantasy, magical elements are not fully explored and left open ended.

This is not for me or for you if you are looking for an action, OP Female MC with well developed fantasy elements.

An extremely compelling example of Isekai and cultivation tropes done right. Has a good female lead and a diverse (even if somewhat underdeveloped) cast of support characters. Would recommend reading if you like similar stories.

UPDATE: the story took a very bad turn in recent chapters, and basically became cheap cliche romance where characters lost all agency. Well, at least it was good while it lasted.

UPDATE: Forced drama and poor worldbuilding added to what was above. Latest chapters are not worth reading.

suprisingly rlly liked it, at first it was normal but aft a few chapters it become totally hooking

i love how badass and cunning FL is esp when slapping faces.  She also does grow as a person so it was cute seeing development. author also knew how to put in the perfect amount of angst to keep u going

shld kinda be tagged 'reverse harem' cus thres alot of love interests. the ML isnt rlly revealed but im rlly happy with any of them cus they all care about her alottt in their own ways and is super hot.

SUPER exciting cultivation plot tho i love the story settings and everty, interactions with MLS have so much tension and sparks and i love her face-slapping those annoying roaches

dont mind the haters and give it a try!

It's pretty good, but there haven't been any updates recently. I'm just waiting for her identity to be revealed and everyone losing their minds.
