Reborn as a baby. Time skip to a teenager. Then remain there till the 29th chapter while MC makes money (Billions) through stock/currency trading and prepares for invading monsters. And that ends season 1.

I like good character development. But to drag it for so long?? Towards the end it really became tiresome to read and I was just scrolling through the pages. This is supposed to be a monster/dungeon/action-type webtoon. But it takes 29 chapters to Dungeon. And there hasn't been any update for almost a year now.

Anyone new planning to read, if season 2 comes out with a prologue; I would suggest skipping season 1 entirely and read the prologue which should have the rough outline of season one and start from season 2 where the story actually dungeons/fights.

“Back to the day I was born!”  Chapter 1: baby. Chapter 2: teenager.
Man, I hate it when authors skip the early childhood years because they’re lazy, but whatever.  Then they spend twenty-something chapters after that talking about playing the stock market, tax evasion, and related finances/history from the 90s?  And very little else?  It’s probably incredibly boring for anyone without interest in those subjects.
Past Life Regressor is something you’ll want to binge read when there are loads of chapters available, and you can possibly skim over tons of ‘shop talk’ entirely unrelated to dungeons and skills, but something people without patience will probably drop early on.  Anyone wanting instant gratification will be better off reading something else, as there is a lot of boring setup that could have easily been skipped over like the entirety of his childhood…
Tl;dr: I like it!  But I don’t see that being a common opinion until there are more than 28 chapters and, you know, whenever the actual plot starts.

I started reading this expecting that it will be about preparing for dungeon war.... but I really not expected that WHOLE first season will be about investment war and getting money. It was not much fun and there was not true opposition and drama, it was more a pure description of finantial instruments and their proper usage with future knowledge to get and lander tons on money.

In Spice and Wolf I liked it, as economy was nice and integral part of story. Here I do not have that positive vibe and so far the first season in disapointment.

This one really hurts. An amazing piece of art that even made me think about studying economics. It is superb to the point it has inspired other economy centred manhwas.

Review about the remake not the original one because i couldn't find the remake entry on animeplanet:-

Main character is a hunter who is almost killed by a high ranking hunter who monopolize the dungeons for their gains. After his death a status window appears in front of him asking if he wants to reset time. Main character chooses to return to the day on which he was born so he can get more powerful by the time he grows up. Main character uses his knowledge of the future to invest in stocks and vecome a billionaire. He also wants to monopolize all dumgeons to make the world a better place.

This manhwa has some hardcore trading stuff. Main character becomes a billionaire in a few chapters But the action part starts after chapter 18 so you have to be patient with this one if you are only into action. Art is normal for a drama and it upscales during fight scenes. Characters are also written well. Overall it's a slow paced business and dungeon type manhwa with a very slow pacing.
