This webtoon is absolutely fantastic. The first thing that peeked my interest was the fact that the MC does parkour, and it's illustration is very dynamic, believable and amazing and this makes the fight scenes really fun to read since both the main protagonist and antagonist are very skilled and athletic.

The plot line is very intriguing and unpredictable while being believable, doing more than just justice to it's mystery genre.

Apart from the main two, the secondary characters are also very well developed and realistic and crucial to the plots development. Two of the main female leads are also really good, with one of them being really skilled and impressive.

The art is very dynamic especially the fight scenes and parkour scenes which are very fluid and absorbing. The art style also matches the overall atmosphere of the webtoon.

Overall, I really recommend this series to anyone looking for something that really absorbs you into the story and it's characters.

I got hooked from the first chapter, but if you're still not, I recommend giving it around 6 to 7 chapters, because once the main antagonist is introduced, I assure you, you won't be putting this series down anytime soon.

I recommend reading it on the official 'Webtoon' site or app, where it is available for free.

Honestly, this is the first webcomic that really hooked me. I seriously spent all my coins on webtoon and dedicated it only for this series. The story was great, the plot and twist that will happen was really unique. You cant read it without making your heart beat fast or make you sweat, as in every panel of the story was awesome and thrilling.

Spoiler: Although, it turned out that Earth 1 was a world full of living corpses which at the first season, you will have a lot of ideas coming on your mind of what does the doppleganger's world look like? You didnt expect that this would be how the story would turn out but this will make it more exciting and I think this is the series who will kill me because of heart attack lol.

I dont understand why this series was so underrated. It needs and deserve more attention. Salute for the author Goda for the art and story. This is my favorite webcomic and I highly recommend this.

Parallel City is an interesting case where Season 1 and Season 2 are completely different genres. That means you need to be into both to really enjoy the way through it, but I'm a fan of both, so I absolutely love it.

Spoilers abound.

Season 1 is a mystery thriller about a missing friend, then a violent doppelganger of the main character. There's a lot of great drama, and the end result is insane, regarding another dimension that turned into a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, it's a little out of left field, but that's how the MC feels. He's just living life, young guy still trying to figure out what he wants to do, nothing really clicks. Very relatable, even if he's a bit of a dick (Though I'd argue that makes him more relatable too). All the sudden there's universe drama and mystery thriller, it catches you off guard just like it does him.

Season 1 ends with an amazing dramatic twist that sends the MC into universe 2; Zombie apocalypse time. It's full on apocalypse, but it doesn't dwell on the misery like most others. The mood replaces mystery with hints of survival, but a lot of character drama, as the MC meets several interesting characters who assign value or threat to him based on his universal counterpart, his doppelganger. It's very well done. Not for everybody though.

The art is fantastic, movement is communicated extremely well and sense of space mixes wonderfully with dramatic scaling; Without ever seeming unrealistic, the environment drawn around the characters reflect their state of mind and often have little hints of what's to come.

PC is one of my favourites, but the jarring twists can take you out of the experience. 9/10 easily.

Tl;dr: Not my kind of story but still highly recommended

At first I really enjoyed the series. The art and Characters are unique and the world just seems alive. However and this is where it gets SPOILERy: at some point it just turns into a Zombie apocalypse series which takes away form the mystery that initaly drew me in. That is when i decides to drop the series how ever if that's your cup of tea i would still highly recomend it
