This is the best Shojou (one of the best) mangas out there. It was in the Top 10 Shojou mangas of 2014 (ranking fourth). This was my first Shoujou manga I've read and it is - amazing. It manages to make you cry in happiness, laugh and ponder the meanng of true friendship - ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I HIGHLY recommend you read it!
A funny, cute, and of course SHOUJO anime and manga!
They are BOTH amazing peices of work and you will have to fall in love with
the creative plot and imaginative characters, long but totally worth it.
With a main girl being doted on by multiple people and loved by all, they are very similar. Kyo and Yuki liking Tohru is similar to Hikaru and Tamaki liking Haruhi. Both mangas center on girls who are innocent and happy on the outside while hiding their sadness. Both series feature super cute boys, boys with different personalities such as the quiet one, the dark one, the charming one, the cutie, the idiot, etc.. both girls have lost their moms and aspire to be what their moms would like.
They're both very comedic romance shoujos. Though both are really funny, OHSHC has more comedy while Fruits Basket has more feels
