Starts out nice but pacing is weird, feels like its been 10 years and the kid starts talking like an adult and having deep philisophical discussions out of nowhere, just the last half of so felt like filler text

Hmmm. I would rate the first four chapters as a 4/10 and the last six chapters as a 1/10, so altogether let's call it a 2/10. I thought it was pretty adorable in the beginning when the hitman would (jokingly) talk about killing fem off and fe wouldn't realize it was a joke, but would still be completely fine with it because fe wanted to die. I'm not sure how this series could've progressed differently for me to have enjoyed it more, but perhaps if it had leaned into the girl's suicidal tendencies or something and made jokes around that? I like the hitman's ponytail/mullet look and I think the girl's x-pupils can be pretty cute. And while the cheeks admittedly look a little bulgy, I think the art is pretty decent overall.
