Ya know, it's kinda interesting how each of these installments plays around with the same ideas, but have different twists at the end and different. This is a direct sequel to Shinnyuusha, in the sense that it involves the same Oshikiri. The Oshikiri that shows up in Oshikiri Idan is actually best interpreted as a different Oshikiri altogether. I thought this installment did a neat job of connecting the creepy wall stuff to the alternate dimension shtick that's shown up in the last few of these Oshikiri stories. It's still not an amazing story or anything, but it's decently well put together and there are some corpses and grotesque imagery as one would expect from Junji Ito. That phone call after the parents' return was a great moment.
