Who Says Warriors Can't be Babes?

Inspired both by a call to justice and a totally massive crush on the Hero, one woman trained until she became the strongest fighter alive! Unfortunately, she might have gone a little too far…because she’s so strong that no matter how hard she tries, the Hero sees her as a juggernaut instead of a sexy love interest. Will the dark lord be slain? Maybe. Will two heroes fall in love? Only time will tell!

A light-hearted gag manga, with most of its jokes stemming from the Warrior Woman being so absurdly strong that fe unintentionally dominates or damages everything fe comes into contact with. The Hero is accidentally killed or mutilated by fem multiple times (which is only possible because of the fantasy RPG setting), and these are definitely some of the funniest moments. The Hero's pure and accepting personality--the fact that fe never shies away from Warrior Woman or trembles in fear at feir approach--even in the face of getting feir spine crushed or whatever is what makes it truly great. The Hero's unlustful personality, and the fact that fe talks with Warrior Woman as though fe's a fellow man, is what leads to Warrior Woman developing an inferiority complex about feir lack of femininity. Fe worries about what fe could do to attract the Hero (even though, honestly, the Hero doesn't seem interested in anybody in that way). Fe wants to look cuter through makeup, clothes, or a smaller physique. Fe wants to act cuter by cooking or knitting or needing to be cared for. But of course, the ways in which fe tries to achieve these things are over-the-top and quite funny. This manga is honestly a decent time-waster--it's cute and funny and short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome--but I'm not sure if I would recommend it as anything other than that. It has beautiful pictures when needed. Cute girls. Curvaceous ecchiness. And honestly, the Warrior Woman is quite attractive. But it also uses a variety of exaggerated techniques for humorous effect. Popping veins, bulging muscles, contorted faces. And it sometimes uses a chibi style that seems to evoke the Dragon Quest type of aesthetic.
