Both of these are one volume shounen-ai tales set in schools. While Desire is more explicit in its content and Only the Ring Finger Knows is more of a soft boy-love romance, both are worth reading for fans of the genre.

Seven Days

Each Monday he agrees to date the first person who asks him out... but only for one week. Although Touji treats everyone he dates with kindness and respect, at the end of the seventh day he inevitably breaks things off, saying "I just couldn’t fall in love with you." One Monday his classmate and fellow archery club member Yuzuru Shino asks him out on a whim, and though Touji has never dated a guy before, he decides to give Yuzuru a chance. Will Yuzuru become Touji's latest ex, or is seven days long enough to fall in love?

Both of these shounen-ai manga are sweet and innocent and throughly non-graphic, which can be frusteratingly hard to find sometimes. Both are set in high school are feature a sempai and kohai pair. (Only the Ring Finger Knows is told from the kohai's point of view while Seven Days is split, but mostly follows the sempai.) In both manga, the couple barely know each other and fall in love as they learn about each other's strengths and short-comings.

Both manga have a gimmick: in Only the Ring Finger Knows, matching rings are popular at the school as a way to show who are your friends and, more importantly, your lovers. In Seven Days, the kohai is well-known at the school for dating any girl for a week and promptly dumping them at the end. Both couples set foot on their paths via a misunderstanding.

If you're looking for some BL that younger people can read (or older people can read in public) both of these are excellent.

Same Cell Organism

Same Cell Organism

Excited, angry, calm, stressed, happy, sad, warm, exasperated... Feelings that come one after the other, or even perhaps all at the same time, when one is involved in a relationship. These are also the same feelings one will encounter one after the other, or perhaps, even all at the same time. An angel becomes mortal to be with the one he loves, two loners share a fondness for hiding out in the school attic, and a high school boy falls in love with a college man who seemingly sees him as nothing more than the kid next door.

If you liked Dousaibou Seibutsu or Only The Ring Finger Knows then you will most likely like the other because of the cute stories and they are both shounen-ai's. There are also some similarities between how the characters from both manga act that I feel ties these two together.

Little Butterfly

Little Butterfly

Kojima’s friendly attitude and upbeat, playful innocence help to guarantee his status as a well-liked boy. But the brooding Nakahara is the exact opposite! A shy wallflower, he seems aloof and is constantly alone...until Kojima suddenly steps into his dark, painful world. Kojima seeks to befriend the class outcast, and soon learns of Nakahara's troubled family life - of his uncaring, abusive father and mentally unstable mother. As Kojima yearns to somehow comfort Nakahara, he gradually becomes aware that his feelings for the other boy arise from more than mere sympathy. When Nakahara declares his own romantic feelings for Kojima, their relationship becomes one of sexual exploration as they face their first steps into adulthood together.

If you have read and liked Little Butterfly or Only the Ring Finger Knows you'd like the other because not only are they both 'light' yaoi they deal with the same kind of feelings and situations that come up in a school atmosphere when your just starting to realize your different then others, they both hold some serious moments but overall its a kind of 'fluff' and introduction to all yaoi in general. I find them both to be 'must reads' for any yaoi lover ^__^

Both anime are romantic and sensitive yaoi centered on school life. They also are quite sensuous... The characters (both seme and uke) are really cute with a beautiful design. The story is deep and very interesting while characters soul are  a little bit tortured. But this is in fact pretty nice and lovely.

Satoru Tendou knows that one-sided love is a fate worse than death. A lonely window used to connect him to his best friend, the talented Shirou Sawaguchi.
