In a city plagued with thugs, mutants, and supervillains, Saitama decides to become a superhero for fun. He envisions an exciting life where he is constantly challenged with tough opponents, but after three years of intense training, he's become so strong that he defeats every enemy with one punch! His dream of engaging challenging foes has gone up in smoke, and his overpowered life is filled with overpowering boredom. Then a cyborg named Genos learns about Saitama's amazing ability and begs him to make him his disciple. Saitama isn't interested in taking on an apprentice, but Genos isn't giving up. Can he convince the disillusioned hero to teach him the secret of his strength? And will Saitama ever find a worthy adversary to battle?
I don't really like doing reviews before the series is finished but this one I have to make an exception for. ~Spoilers~ This is like the Manga/Anime which I am glad, all follow the source material to the letter, and makes this series a cut above the rest. The lack of deviation is why the entire series is beautiful. This webcomic is drawn poorly but the story over-rides that fact immediately, the comic overtone, and the pretty impressive action are at the heart and soul of the series. The introduction of class ranks and positions within the ranks; in-fighting and backstabbing at lower echelons is very intriguing. There really is no slow point in the series that I can recall, so the pacing is very good. In order the series that should be done is Anime-Manga-Webcomic. That way the story will drive you to stay with it. Well worth all the time you spend with it.
starting reading this since i was fed up waiting for the manga which was releasing so slowly and boy was i impressed. At the start the art does look like some high schoolers doodles but the art quality increased with each chapter. The comedy is the best especially the scenes with saitama and king(aka the strongest man). story line is executed perfectly with proper pacing without boring the audience. would reccomend to the manga readers but the story in manga differes a bit but that should be no problem.
