They are made by the same company and they both have the "player" style in the manhwa. I really like both of them because they do add a weak to strong kind of vibe to them; more like they take the power given to them and turn it into something great. These 2 series are on my favorite's list and they are really good series to binge read (when ORVP gets more chapters at least)!

AlfAdvent AlfAdvent says...

the first time I'm seeing a light novel based on another light novel. this novel revolves around our mc, who has the most op ability of the story. The 'knowledge of the main plot'. Its almost like Solo Leveling, both have game breaking abilities, both have chance encounters, but the one thing really special about this manga, is that his power comes from him being the only person who read through 3000+ chapters of a boringly executed plot

Similar in art style and just as amazing. Both MCs are OP. Sole Leveling is more gradual with the OP-ness but it still makes sense in Omniscient Viewpoint. The OG-MC, Joonghyuk, from the book that the MC gets sucked into reminds me of BAMF!Sung Jin-Woo only not as pissed off as Joonghyuk is because 1) he's been around and been bad ass a lot longer and 2) Dokja, the self-insert in his story, won't stop pissing him off which is hysterical.

Their personalities are also somewhat similar - mostly calm and collected, and tend to think things through before acting. Each has their own moral code they abide by.

I love both stories They are alike and different at the same time. RTP is basically a guy getting a second chance at the new game of life to allow more people to survive because he would've been alone in the world one he beat the game. ORVP read a story about the upcoming apocalypse and he was the only reader left at the end of the novel so he's the only person who really knows how to survive through the trial and tribulations they face. But the game master is making the game a little more difficult for him.

Both webtoons feature protagonists who may not be traditionally moral but are likeable for that very reason. The plot is great and the art is even better.

Similar premise of an initially 'weak' MC tackling the either the apocalypse from a web novel as the only one who read it/a new world from a novel as a trash side character. Dawoon's ordinary life is turned upside down when he is summoned into the Dungeon, where he must play a deadly game, outlasting dangerous monsters and life-threatening traps. To make matters worse, he's only a mere crafter with zero combat abilities. But after Dawoon falls into a trap and survives after a glitched reset, he's gained random but oddly helpful skills. He'll need to get creative to clear the game and return home, with a bloodthirsty assistant and an adorable ground squirrel along for the ride. Now that the rules no longer apply to him, what possibilities await in the tunnels below?

MC surprisingly calm/optimistic about their situation (or at least tries/pretends to be)

MC has special abilities

MC started off weak and will eventually be the strongest
