Kumo from the mountain dog tribe was picked up by Kin from the cat tribe and who lives near a wolf tribe doctor of the omegas, Ise. Whether it be Kumo having the characteristics of a dog, he tends to make playful nibbles and licks towards Kin. However, the fact that Ise was pleased with their excellent compatibility makes Kin’s heart ache…
This is a multi-generational look at a world where human-animal hybrids are the new norm and, as a byproduct of that, omegas from the cat tribe are highly prized for their reproductive ability. I did find it a bit odd how it went into the physiological detail about how a uterus starts growing on the end of the rectum, which is how omegas gain the ability to reproduce. They also leak pheromones out of their buttholes (kept in check with butt plugs) while they're in heat and they lactate after giving birth. The emergency butt plug was a stupid plot idea, though I guess it is something novel and unexpected. There are two couples whose stories are told. The first couple has the alpha expressing feir desire for an initially hesitant omega; and the second couple is reversed, with the omega wooing the alpha. The short little whiskers don't really look attractive. And the double ears look stupid. I did appreciate seeing some of the animal mannerisms, especially from Kin while fe's in heat: arching feir back, licking feir forearms. The sex scenes are quite erotic as well.
!!Spoiler Alert!! I have a mixed opinion about this manga. Overall, the story wasn't bad and I don't regret reading it - but there are some disappointing parts. Mainly: the fact that there is suddenly a twist where their kids are "for the humanity" and they basically give all of them but Tou away was very odd and sudden to me, as well as how quicly the doctor's mind changed regarding Tou . . . honestly some of the stuff just felt rushed and not well explained. Not a bad quick read though.
O.k wow, I'm just wow...we have a shota omega...and a devoted alpha. Crushes are present , but its basically a one sided love affair. Its unique in that you get to see the species difference in these characters (Cat x Wolf-dog(?). The component and successful individual in this would be relationship is for once not the alpha (I am omega, and I can be independent!) :). I recommend this read as it's everything I love about Omegaverse with its on defining characteristics and unconventional story development. Go ahead, take a peek at it.
