A fantastic collection of sweer yuri stories that are sure to make your heart flutter. The art is really pleasing to look at and the mangakas manage to pack quite a lot of emotion into their short stories. My favorite story is definitely the first one of the bunch, but all of them are lovely short reads. There's nothing absolutely memmorable here, but there's a lot of heart.

Mayoeru Kohitsuji wa Madoroi nagara mo

This story is about a cold-hearted girl who has been confessed to many times and she always accepts the confession, but she never ends up dating the person for more than a month because they break up with her because she is too cold-hearted. I really like this story. The art is pleasing and the emotions are powerful as it tells the story of a sort of burgeoning love as a young girl desires to feel love like everyone around her does.

Hajikete Tansan, Natsu Moyou. | Fizzing Soda, a Summer Motif

This is a sweet yuri story about two high school girls who are dating and who are about to share their first summer together. One of them is very nervous about potentially having her first time whereas the other already has the courage. It's a short and sweet comic about lust, desire, and the feelings of fear and vulnerability that come with it.

Sugarcraft wa Yuuten wo Shiranai | I Don't Know the Melting Point of Sugar Glass

Another sweet yuri story about a pair of best friends who recently became lovers. One of them struggles with internalized homophobia and wonders if her friend truly likes her or if she accepted her out of a desire to preserve her friendship. I feel like it's about addressing the difference between friends and lovers as this story also explores sexual desire in a very sweet and poignant way.

Shiroi Toiki wa Yakedo ni Nite | A White Sigh, Like a Burn Wound

Another lovely, sweet yuri story! I need more adjectives to use. It's about a teenage girl who wittnesses her bestfriend/crush be confessed to by a guy, so she feels insecure and bad about that especially since her friend didn't even bring it up to her. She's trying to emotionally distance herself from her friend before she is the one left behind, but love burns and sometimes that warmth is worth the burn wound.

Anata wa, Watashi no | You Are Mine

This story seems to be a bit out of place in that it is the only one not about high school girls, but instead is about two adults--but the story of their relationship began when they were school students so I suppose that is why it is in this collection. Anyway, one of the girls frequently breaks up with her bouyfriends and makes it a habit of crashing with her friend who is secretly in love with her ... or perhaps not so secretly in love with her. It's a chapter to what would have been a painstaking, long slow burn if this was a serialized series instead of a one shot. It does a great job to capture the feeling of love and longing in its pages.

7/10 story
