"The boy I saved before becomes an older and a highly talented knight!" One day, Sara was transported to another world and saved a boy named Luke who was pursued and collapsed in the forest for some reason, and decided to live together with him. However, just as Luke was beginning to recover from his wounds, Sara was abruptly sent back to her own world. Three years later, Sarah returned to the other world again and reunited with a 25-year-old Luke, the finest ice magician in the country and a knight who earned baronetcy for his achievements! He used to be 10 years younger than her, but now he's two years older and a romantic interest." I'll reward you with my entire life," he said as he began to dote on Sara.
One of the more unique otome isekai mangas out there. I added extra points for creativity and boldness of idea to my rating. The FL isekais to another world and saves the 10-year-old male lead. She takes care of him and ensures that his life will go somewhere by saving money for university and giving him opportunities to grow. FL somehow isekais back to her original world, where she finds out that only 1 month has passed for the 6 months she experienced in the other world. Somehow, she regains her normal existence only for her to return to the other world yet again. What a turn of events. Simply shocking. Of all the mangas I've read, I've never seen a character isekai back to their actual world. That's quite an interesting turnaround because it begs the question - how certain are characters that they'll actually stay in the world they isekai-d to? Now here's the kicker, and what's been bothering me this entire time, does it count as grooming a child if she raises him but now they're the same age? When she meets the ML again, he's 25 and she's 23. He's attained quite a name for himself and underwent puberty and life, gaining money, fame, and experience. He never went for other women because he was loyal to his childhood love despite never knowing when he'll see her again. Upon the return of the FL, he tries to court her by giving her gifts, money, and power. He flirts with her and explicitly states his feelings for her. Par for the course, the FL is denser than most heavenly bodies out there and doesn't see that he sees her as a romantic partner and not as an older sibling. I'm not quite sure where I stand on this tbh. Technically, it's not grooming but if take into account the entirety of the situation, it's still considered grooming to an extent? It's making my brain hurt. What do you think? The story and the art style are acceptable. They're not out there winning awards but they get the job done and they're respectable enough. Nothing flashy. Should you read this? I'm 50/50 on whether this is something worth spending time on. It's definitely not a loss of time, it's not a gain either. Reviewed at Chapter 5.
