Its cute, but that's all. There wasn't really much to see from it. It was a very quick read as it only had 11 pages. If you love toilet bound hanako kun, or would just like some cute fluff romance, then I'd recommend this one!

The panel with the grayed-out Nica curled up in the fetal position is gorgeous. A lot of the rest of the artwork is pretty great too, though I don't really care for Nica's clothes or tail design. Or the star-like light sources--for some reason those are a bit distracting to me. The artist shows the clutter in the room to set the stage, but then a lot of the panels have a more minimal amount of background details. As for the content, it's supposed to be a heartwarming story about how love isn't tied to someone's usefulness to you. But the problem is that all of Killey's actions don't really portray love, unless you consider domestic/animal abuse to be loving. Like, think of it this way: since Killey knows that Nica is clumsy and liable to accidentally mess things up, wouldn't it be wiser for fem to go the route of a parent and put valuables out of feir reach? And since fe isn't attempting to cause harm, how does it help for Killey to beat fem into a mass of mosaic censorship? It doesn't even seem like fe's attempting to discipline fem as much as just venting feir anger, which is definitely abusive behavior. Though now that I think about it, people can abuse those that they love (it happens all the time), so I guess the central premise of the story still stands...but I don't think it's as heartwarming as the author intended...

SUPER cute. One of my fav oneshots as of rn!Nica & Killey’s interactions were also pretty adorable.Honestly if this ever became an actually serialised manga [which I doubt it would be, but “if” it did], I would most likely read it.Plus Aida’s artstyle is a cherry on top.
