An innocent anthology that reads as 'very canon' and includes various 'extra' scenes of the girls from Hamefura interacting with Katarina both as children and teenagers, focusing on their affection towards her.  As they are all drawn by different artists (some good, some... bad) it's hard to rate the overall art.  The characters stay pretty in-character according to canon and the stories are cute.  Don't read if you aren't caught up on the main manga as some chapters have minor spoilers/references to the main manga.  Do read if, like me, you think the girls are all very cute together and you can't get enough <3

Katarina talks about books with Sophia, gets gardening advice from Mary, and enjoys the sweets Maria makes. And those three girls vie for Katarina's attention and want to hold a special place in feir heart. Tree-climbing also occurs, as one would expect. The majority of the chapters are extremely bland and boring--adding absolutely nothing to the main series and being entirely uninteresting as standalone stories. Each of the girls basically has two chapters that focus in on them, and there are also two chapters which focus on the whole group and one that focuses on Anne. I think about half of them are narrated by a non-Katarina character, which I guess is something I can appreciate. Honestly, the only chapter which I found at all entertaining was chapter 8, though even that was only a 3 or 4 out of 10 at most. I also think the art is weaker than the main series and more prone to sloppy looks (the Anne chapter is especially bad). And it's just not as funny or cute or novel, so I don't think it's worth reading.
