The MC becomes strong enough to beat a B-rank the moment he awakens and he just keep on getting stronger with each chapter. That's all, he's not interesting in the slightest, all the other characters are cliché and weird and they throw random plot devices in where they don't fit. MC basically also gets a harem 8 chapters in and then they focus on the women more than they do the MC. He has no personality, just clichés and plot armor. The ranks also feel very unclear in the series, you get to see people fighting all the time, but the only ones you actually see fighting are B-rank or above and even then, I find most of them to be quite useless. I commented this in one of the chapters, "It feels more like a super hero manhwa rather than a dungeon clearing one." , but I don't even know anymore.

Art is quite good though, even if the MC looks stupid from every angle they draw him in.

Story is TAD bit unique, but still have all the features you'd expected in a manga/manhwa that has "system" in them.

MC gains an advantage that noone knew, become the strongest in under like a year.

But the thing that is unique about this is that the lack of EMOTION on characters, it's just so bland, it's incredibly disappointing to see hero cracking a lame sarcastic response to a mass shooter after they had already finished the deed, and of course the first 2 people who interests in main character is a woman with amazing physique.

If i were to choose between this manga and any manhua ever, i'd choose the manhua because at least they has some emotion in those faces and story that i can maybe apprehend.

I do like it and find it interesting, the concept is really nice and the art definitely nakes it better than it actually is.

I hope this will get a copy work with better execution of this idea.

MC is bland, stupid, OP, but not OP. He just listens to everyone and grts stronger, but never strong enough and always wins in some way, be it stop of a fight, running away or something else.

All in all it is fun to read with, for me, super interesting idea concept and really nice art, but pretty bad execution of the story.

Moderate spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

Around chapter 24 the main character is attacked by the rank 2 hero because of 'reasons.' He has a bone to pick with MC's new boss and wants to kill the MC because he doesn't like her. Plotwise it may also be an inferiority complex or an attempt to trim the crop before its grown, but either way this guy shows up. Attempts murder upon him. Almost kills him. MC successfully defends himself and no one comes to help. Then when he's about to hit this guy with the grimiest punch, his boss spawns and cucks him, preventing him from possibly blasting a hole in the chest of this poorly written degenerate filler character.

Oh and he calls himself the great sage/mage or something which didn't feel right considering he's a blood-crazed maniac with powers reminiscent of "The Flash" and is constantly in close combat. Anyway this idiot's subordinates show up and say "oopsie our boss is such a sussy tsundere baka can you fogive pwease~" and then disappear without repercussions. Turns out that guy was the leader of some Walmart guild and these city-destroying escapades are common and his minions are used to it now.

The enemy then issues a public statement apologizing for the attempted murder of the MC and leveling a significant portion of the city. It is at this point that I stopped reading. A 4/5 dropped to a 2/5, unreadable, top 10 author betrayals of all time.

Here are some tips for future villainy:

-evil monologue describing the mental hoops you are jumping through to commit war crimes/be annoying

-inflicting/suffering a moderate to severe injury from/to MC for plot and reader satisfaction

-villain kills at least one innocent which validates our hatred for them and forces MC to FEEL SOMETHING

So yeah I guess that's it, I'm just super butthurt by the poor writing after getting hooked initially. I'm really tired of "possible reform" or "we need the villain to help us later" excuses from authors AND readers. Bad guys need to die. Period.
