Both were manga commisioned by or were made in collaboration with the Lourve Museum, and are therefore set in and around the famous French museum. The two differ in terms of tone and genre, however. While Guardians focuses on art appreciation and capturing the wonderous atmosphere of the museum itself, Mujirushi is a thrilling, character-driven action romp with dramedy elements.
