even though storywise there are many more out there that resemble doupo cangqiong (ie douluo dalu or panlong), i believe mujang is of a much higher quality...in fact they differ in a lot of things (manhua vs manhwa, fantasy vs historical context with op martial arts, noble vs slave, etc)
if i had to pintpoint the similarities i'd say the mc's attitudes, even if they're in very different environments, feel very like each other
other than that i'm not sure, but the match just feels right
