If the story had a touch of seriousness, it could have been quite compelling. Unfortunately, it opted for a trashy, light comedy approach. Let's delve deeper: the main character is severely underdeveloped, with black-and-white values that fail to provide a clear image of his personality and beliefs. He paradoxically considers zombies as a family but shows little emotion when they are killed. He expresses a desire to befriend humans but makes minimal effort to engage with them, instead choosing to pass as human himself. The world-building suffers from the same lack of depth, with vague descriptions leaving too much to the reader's imagination, which doesn't effectively serve the narrative.
