On some level, I'm just tired of the over-reliance on Adventurer's Guilds in general as a storytelling device within these types of fantasy manga. But on another level, I don't think that Lambert joining such a guild was the optimal way to progress the story for feir character specifically. From what little we know about Lambert, fe is obsessive, self-reliant (in the sense that fe doesn't seek money or comfort), and intent on wandering around the country of Regios to see how it's doing and what's changed over the course of the last 230 years since fe died. Joining an organization, developing attachments to a specific adventuring party, and engaging in random quests seems to run counter to that. I mean, at least we see fem following leads related to feir past within the dungeon or aiming to fight the injustice of the duke, but couldn't those things have been done without having fem join an Adventurer's Guild? It just feels extraneous to the meat of the story. Anyway, the meat of the story also hasn't been all that interesting. Admittedly, we haven't seen very much of it so far, so this assessment might be premature, but I haven't been very engaged with any of the aspects related to Lambert's past or whatever. And then the injustice which Lambert is encountering just comes across as very...fake. The bad guys are hyperbolically sadistic (and sometimes masochistic as well), cruel, and self-serving. There's just no nuance or realism to the characterizations at all. 'Cause the primary goal is to allow for Lambert to mass slaughter the bad guys without the need to attempt diplomacy or negotiation. The bad guys aren't intended to be seen as people, because that would just complicate the righteous slaughtering. The justice gore. The good guy sword-ing. The fight scenes and subsequent gore aren't drawn all that impressively either. It largely just consists of bloody splatter marks and stiff choreography. Lambert's giant broadsword (which I'm sure was inspired by Guts) just looks like a toy made from cardboard (i.e. it's drawn badly). In general, there's a lot of sloppiness with the way the characters are drawn as well. Especially during the transitional moments or when a character isn't the focus of a panel. Lambert's armor looks alright, but it also creates the downside that we don't see any sort of facial expressiveness from the main character. Many of the buildings and whatnot are made up of simplistic straight lines.  [Reviewed at chapter 11]
