Before he was Sherlock’s rival, Moriarty fought against the unfair class caste system in London by making sure corrupt nobility got their comeuppance. But even the best-intentioned plans can spin out of control—will Moriarty’s dream of a more just and equal world turn him into a hero…or a monster?

Where should I start? If you love the Sherlock Holmes or detective stories or even stories of a villain this is definitely something you can read. This story focuses on the early life and the motives of Moriarty and how he meets Sherlock and what happens after. Overall every chapter is a joy to read. The characters are interesting and each has such complex motivations you can't help but cheer for them. With that comes a lovely art style and a great plot that rehashes the Sherlock stories and makes them even better than before. I highly recommend this manga and my only hope is for more people to read it and see why it's great! So why are you reading this when you could be reading it! :D
It's a nice on the other side plot. As time goes on however, the atmosphere turns vague real quick and real initial intentions are blocked, faded even. Also, the vintage area the authors visualize starts to expand modern and idk if it's a bright idea. what is sherlock and holmes relationship? No clue. friends, partner, rabbit and mouse chase? This manga as it grows will be hard to close, it's expanded so much that many will most likely not prefer the ending and it's outro to Moriarty the Patriot will be filled dull. However, all that aside it's a brilliant manga, i don't think it was the right time to release this genre tho, as a popular theme for spring animes is very fantasy-reincarnation rn. However if the authors turn that to the advantage; aka use it's one of a kind in 2020-2021 knowledge, i believe i'd rate it more than a 7.5
