This manga is a peculiar and confusing mess that held potential, as evidenced by the general consensus among commentators who also found it challenging to follow. To elaborate, our protagonist discovers she can sense monsters, but shortly after, a new character with the same ability is introduced. Suddenly, her brother inexplicably transforms into a two-sword-wielding fighter, and our protagonist mimics this act without any explanation. She expresses a desire to be killed, feeling invincible despite her mother's death. However, setting aside the convoluted and inconsistent story, I did appreciate the unique depiction of monsters and the handling of gore, which added a distinct quality to the manga.
