Comet Lucifer is a fantasy set on the planet Gift, where precious crystals called Giftjium are buried in the earth. The main character Sougo lives in a prosperous mining town, Garden Indigo, and loves to collect rare crystals. One day, he gets caught up in a dispute between his classmates, and somehow loses his way deep in the ruins of a mine. There, he at an underground lake, he discovers a blue-haired girl with red eyes named Felia, and his adventure begins.

Renton, son of scientists, and Eureka, a girl who can't live under the sun, are raised together when very young and become very attached to each other. One day, Eureka is taken away. Powerless at the time, Renton vows to rescue her. He enters the military and is soon assigned to the Independent Youths Unit 303 of the First Mobile Forces thanks to his exceptional performance alongside his Nirvash, a bio-mechanical armor/control system. Unknown to Renton, there is a plot to extinguish the alien invasion that is currently happening. It involves not only him, but Eureka too.

A mysterious explosion on Futagami Island begins a new chapter in the Dangaioh mythos! Flash-forward to ten years later when led by the evil Professor Katou, a band of warriors calling themselves the "Tartarus Knights" have, thanks to the help of four mighty generals, begun their campaign to lay waste to the world. Their final objective? A small research station on Futagami Island. Katou's victory seems almost certain - until he encounters an advanced fortress guarding the island. From it, a group of three humanoid robots are launched.

Junki Saiga's father went missing years ago, and Junki has been living a normal life since -- until his father's remains were found in some ruins. Upon investigating, Junki inadvertently discovers a golden bracelet; and coincidentally, a large extraterrestrial being simultaneously crashes nearby and begins attacking everything in sight! Much to Junki's surprise, a golden mechanical giant named Reideen then appears and battles the alien with Junki as its pilot. After the battle is over Junki realizes that he was chosen to be the pilot of Reideen, and that he is the only one who can stop the aliens! Now, he must continue to live his life as a regular high school student, in addition to piloting Reideen when new threats emerge!
