super cute story and character relationships. the author deals with a bunch of different types of family dynamics and problems really well. it has its funny moments but also very heartfelt and healing moments, would definitely recommend

I appreciate the focus on empathy and an attitude of acceptance. Those are some of the most important values to promote at large and it creates a pretty wholesome and feelgood reading experience. The interactions between the various central characters are heartwarming and nice to see. There were also a few interactions where I laughed out loud. The main appeal comes from seeing the gap between a serious-looking man and the cutesy aesthetic which fe likes. Aoi is overly self-conscious and defensive about liking these sorts of cutesy things. Which does feel a bit immature, but it also allows for character growth and helps reflect the petty and pointless judgmentalism which can occur within many segments of society.
