Master of the Fox Bead Manga

Lee Jinhwa lived an ordinary life until she swallowed a fox bead gifted by a mysterious peddler, mistaking it for a wish-fulfilling marble. Little did Jinhwa know that her actions would lead her to be haunted by Koo Miho, an infamous nine-tailed fox who wishes to retrieve the bead. To add fuel to the fire, Jinhwa soon discovers that she's also become a target for various spirits and demons, and the only way to extract the cause of the issue is for Miho to kill her... or kiss her!

cool supernatural story but the sapphic romance is sidelined and practically nonexistent

I genuinly love it but its lacking my needed amount of romance.

The Short: This is a great supernatural story with romance. The pacing is good, there's some action, and the myth is easily understood and explained. HOWEVER the romance was heavily sidelined and not paced well. The couple feels put-off and they don't end up together until near the end. I would recomend reading this, but read for the compelling plot, not a satisfying romance. The Long: This was a lovely sapphic story, with a bisexual mc. I really enjoyed Miho the fox, and learning her story was facinating. Unfortunately, the author also failed to pace the romamce well. The majority of the story has the mc having feelings and chemistry with a different character, and although the chemistry with Miho is there it isn't explored enough within the 60 chapters for their romance to feel satisfying. I could forgive this is there were side-stories, but the ending is both a nice end and unsatisfying and has no continuation at this time (roughly 2 years after publication). All around I very much enjoyed the read, but probably will not reread this again due to the ending feeling unsatisfying and the sapphic romance being sidelined.
