There's one arc I absolutely hate in this story. It's the arc when Waka, Sinn's coworker, asks him and Mari to take care of her grandmother. If that wasn't problematic enough, asking someone who you're not even that close to to spend time with YOUR relative who you should be dealing with on your own, Waka's grandmother is the worst. Not only is she intruding on Mari and Sinn's married couple time, she goes behind her granddaughter's back to contact Waka's ex-husband, so she can make Waka meet up with him again. This is terrible for so many reasons. In the story, Waka's ex-husband is not a bad guy, but the grandmother doesn't know that. Waka never talked to her about her and her ex's divorce. What if she had forced Waka to meet up with an abusive ex-husband? And Waka has to go meet them in person because the grandmother and Mari, who she keeps dragging along, went to meet the ex-husband in person. I don't like how Mari acts in this arc of the story either. She's always been naive and gullible, but this arc takes that attitude to an extreme. She ignores her husband, Sinn, in favor of spending time with Waka's grandmother. Waka's grandmother even has the audacity to stay over at Sinn and Mari's home. Sinn is completely sidelined the entire time, the poor guy. He literally just wanted to spend time with his wife and build a bed together, but his wife keeps being dragged around by his coworker's grandmother.

Update: The author is bad at writing realistic consequences. Other than what I already wrote above, the author has this plot in the story where Mari was photographed by a photographer for this gossip company/magazine about the NEET program. Even though he's not the one who wrote the article, his coworker did, he still took those pictures. He should have deleted them. The author frames him as a good guy, who didn't want to "hurt" Mari or Sinn, but he still took pictures of Mari and didn't delete them, thus allowing his coworker to write that article. He even has the audacity to meet up with Mari in person.  And because of the article his company published about Mari, everyone knows where she lives/the house she lives. There's a stupid teenager who comes by and THROWS A ROCK near Mari. Did I mention at this point in the story she's pregnant? Why is a pregnant woman meeting with strangers, and endangering herself and her baby? The photographer didn't knock on the front door, he literally stalked Mari and Mari INVITED HIM INSIDE! And the photographer goes after the teenager who threw the rock, and Mari follows them, and she almost slips on the stairs and had a possible miscarriage, because that stupid teenager's umbrella hit her. WHY DO BAD PEOPLE IN THIS COMIC GET AWAY WITH THEIR TERRIBLE BEHAVIOR?!

The word "Fluff' is the best way to describe this webtoon. It is fluffy and smilies. Zero unwanted drama. Instead, we are given these two individuals who are just trying to fit into each other's world. I can't remember if there was an episode that didn't leave a smile on my face when I read it. It was that cute. I love the simplicity of Mary Me's story. Less heavy drama and more about the character and their growth. About finding yourself, rekindling your relationship with your family, first love, first crush. The art style is very unique. It has this texture that as a novice I have no idea what to call it. It is kawaii, soft & pretty.

Right now you can access 70ch on webtoons so it would take over half a year to see the end.

The story isn't only centered on Mari and Sinn, but also on their family and friends.

Well, it's cute, really. Maybe even a little too much, like everybody will live happily ever after. I think the important thing here is that a single connection with someone can affect all those around. it's not memorable but I enjoy the ride. If you're searching for some heart warming story, you should definitely give it a try.
