I discovered the trailer for the anime coming this October 2019 and tried reading.  It looked surprisingly good from the trailer and the manga didn’t let me down.  In fact, this is without doubt one f the best manga I’ve ever read so far as up to the mos recently translated chapter 48.  The drama, action, hidden powers, and most surprising the high level comedy make for one of the most complete overall blended master works ever produced anime, video games, light novels, or any other media concerning anime style entertainment.  It is literally one of the best and most comprehensive mix of what’s not only the best anime has to offer but the best mixture of their various genres and themes.  It doesn’t cross everything, at least not yet, but does hit upon several fields and does excellent justice to each.

Rarely have I found such an excellent treasure in the anime world.  The only drawbacks are: the gooey way which it appears most things end so unrealistically amicably; while it looks like things are too convenient, it isn’t played that way (but overly convenient might be an issue for some, so I note it here); it has at least one overly annoying character but within context of the story it’s made to work (but not everyone likes over the top annoying characters); and a somewhat weak overall arc/plot but that may just not be clear yet.  Actually, it’s pretty hard to think of many negative criticisms for this manga.  It’s just too good.  Though some characters might look a bit stereotypical, none of the, fit it perfectly because they either look too unique from most stories or their personalities are mixed/blended in a way that doesn’t exactly fit easy to spot copies.

Overall, it’s: lack of flaws; solid storytelling;descriptively diverse characters; attention to grammar ; and use of story structure rarely seen just make this an overall sound choice in this form of media.

(191 chapters in)

Read this if you want a Skilled (semi-op) MC navigate the underworld in a comedic setting. There is lots of heavy forshadowing for those with a keen eye, and there are several plots running in the background to the main plot.

The story is a top notch comedy about an insane premise with serious undertones that, when they break through into the main story, send chills down your spine. Each arc tops prior arcs in terms of hilarity, scale, and development while still mantaining the same feelings you get from the first couple chapters. Each character is lovable and unique, especially their interactions with the MC and more importantly, each-other.

The Story is intense but still hilarious. Even at the most dire of events, the very next page will have you laughing until your lungs burst. The plot thickens at an astonishing rate and leaves you at the edge of your seat at times.

The art is amazing. Top notch.

The characters carry the show and make you want to root for them. It is amazing how you can see each character's relationship with each-other and how it develops over the course of the series. Unlike most harem manga, the characters have interests outside of the MC and choose to pursue those relationships.

Ok so I began watching Iruma kun as an anime back when it first aired but I then immediately moved onto the manga. I really enjoyed the gang being up to no good and seeing Iruma progress to being the "demon lord" that Sullivan wanted him to be as his "grandson". I really liked a lot of the characters surrounding Iruma like I didnt actually mind at first having a lot of them because they really blended the story well and I always got a chuckle from every chapter as it can be seriously funny. However that all changed recently when the author decides to add even more characters by sticking them in there without context and not involving the charms around the story it once had. It was if author-san just completely went to a complete different direction from what I thought was all going to be about Irumas goal. It's becoming even more draggy now which is disappointing because I've read this manga for a long time now like I thought it had potential but nope, not anymore for me....

What can I say. I love this so much. I've never loved a manga series as much as I have loved Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun.

I really want to mention that this series is suprisingly lgbtqia+ friendly. (slight spoilers ahead) One character in chapter 185 says, and I quote: "Hey Hey! Gender doesn't matter to demons, that nonsense! You gotta love what you love, right?" Honestly I have no words for how much I love that SINGULAR line. Being lgbtqia+ myself this series makes my heart full with not only the AMAZING art and characters!

To finish this off, I have never been interested in so many side characters's backstories and character development before. Like I love pretty much all of them?? they all have their own unique charm to them! This series has quickly become my quilty pleasure. I just adore this series so much.

Sorry if I made any mistakes in my writing! I always sucked at writing in school, unfortunately.
