basically a hentai. 10/10
Okay, but in all seriousness:
Pros:
- All the characters have very distinct personalities and are really enjoyable.
- As... interesting,,, as the premise may be, the character writing and development is just phenomenal.
- Weird as some of them might be, I personally really like the character design.
- Lighthearted and funny. I genuinely laughed a couple times.
- ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Hooray for yuri! It starts lighter/more implied but it definitely amps up if you wait.
- It balances the seriousness and the uh. other parts very smoothly
Cons:
- Maybe not a con but it gets very, very lewd and there is no way you could read it in public without fearing for your dignity.
- World is maybe slightly underdeveloped and even though there's hints to other magical girls outside of the city it takes place in, it's basically never mentioned again. Could probably be remedied in the future, but not so far.
- Similarly, the characters are great but don't really develop all that much, which is relatively okay since they're interesting from the start? But still.
- EDIT 7/25/22: The last two criticisms have been remedied with time by the author. The progressive expansion of the world and characters is actually one of my favorite things about it now, even if it took a little while to get there.
???: (Other notes)
- Plot is batshit and doesn't take itself seriously. Don't expect some kind of literary masterpiece.
- Wholesome? What's that? Except for maybe Kiwi. Maybe.
- EDIT 12/23/22: Somehow, room for canon, genuine romance in multiple pairings has been found. So a little bit more wholesome.
- Ah yes, the whole cast is a bunch of perfectly normal 14 year olds and younger... Wait, what?
- CW: The tags here list only sexual content, but they blatantly have sex a couple times in view of the reader. It's not quite nudity but it's very blatant of what's intended to be seen without crossing that line, for some reason.
